Dance for World Peace

It may sound ambitious but the idea is very simple. People joining together to celebrate the universal language of dance, competition and friendship.

It was one mans dream to change a country, bring about peace and prosperity whilst living in harmony. That man fought to have no army, no navy and no airforce. His legacy lives on today, we are proud to have his son as a partner to carry on that legacy in an effort to bring peace to the world through the artistic dancesport medium.

The Inaugural "Dance for World Peace" gala will be officially opened by the Costa Rican President, along with the ministers for Tourism and Culture. Representatives from the foreign embassy's will be present to assist with the ceremony's.

This idea similar to the project made famous in New York by Mr Pierre Dulaine, who was the motivation behind the international hit movie "Mad Hot Ballroom" .

The evening will be strictly formal with lots of social dancing and entertainment.

So don't forget your Black tie and bring your dance shoes..
